We're looking for three parents to join our Library Media Committee for the 2025-2026 school year. If interested, please continue reading.

The role of the library media committee is to provide input for the school's library media center collection development as well as consultation for books and other material being considered for addition to the school library media center student use but can include instructional use. The committee is comprised of school community stakeholders and led by the school's Library Media Specialist. Input from the committee will be used to guide collection development goals regarding community standards, readers' interest, and academic needs. The committee will have scheduled meetings once per quarter and on demand as needed.

Hello Berryhill Parents and Guardians!

We’re excited to let you know that picture days are just around the corner! Your child should have brought home a picture order form last Friday.

Mark your calendars! Fall pictures will be taken by Kay Brown Photography on:

• Thursday, Sept 18th: PK-2nd Grade

• Friday, Sept 19th: 3rd-5th Grade

Don’t worry if you need an extra order form; we have plenty available in the front office.

Remember, all students will be photographed—whether they’re ordering pictures or not—so they can shine in this year’s yearbook! For your convenience, I’ve attached the picture schedule.

If your child happens to be absent on picture day, no problem! We’ll have make-up pictures on October 27th.

Yearbook Sale Announcement

We are pleased to inform you that our yearbooks are now available for purchase! They are currently priced at $30, which is the lowest price of the year. Please note that the price will increase to $35 on September 6th and will continue to rise every few months thereafter. All transactions are processed through Jostens. Please be aware that all submitted photos will be reviewed by the yearbook staff, and submission does not guarantee publication in the yearbook. We kindly ask that you refrain from using photos with filters, logos, or hand gestures. Screenshots are not acceptable, as they are typically low resolution and not suitable for print. Watermarked photos should also be avoided.

Flu Mist Vaccine Information for Parents

We are pleased to inform you that our Department of Health nurses will be providing the Flu Mist vaccine at Berryhill Elementary on November 6, 2025.

Today, Monday, August 25, 2025, your student will bring home a consent form along with an information packet. To ensure your child receives the vaccine during our clinic, please complete the consent form (both the front and back) and return it to the school by Monday, September 8, 2025.

We encourage you to review the information packet carefully. Please remember that no student can receive the vaccine without a properly completed consent form. This is a convenient opportunity for your child, and we appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you!
